In this series of character trailers, explore the gameplay and motivations of the key members of Expedition 33 as they set course to destroy the Paintress so she may never paint death again. Meet Gustave, the resourceful and dedicated engineer from Lumière. Gustave grew up feeling suffocated by the Paintress’ constant presence over Lumière. He has dedicated his life to the city’s defense and agricultural systems, striving to protect and provide for his people. Now, as an Expeditioner, he devotes his final year of life to defeating the Paintress and reclaiming a future for Lumière’s children.
