Microsoft Flight Simulator | Local Legend 4: Savoia-Marchetti S.55

The Microsoft Flight Simulator team has released the fourth aircraft in our Local Legends series - the unique Savoia-Marchetti S.55 bundle.

The S.55 is a twin-engine flying boat produced by Italian aviation manufacturer Savoia-Marchetti of Milan. One of the most distinctive and memorable aircraft in history, it features a catamaran hull design. Constructed primarily of wood, the hydroplane’s cockpit is located in the forward mid-section of the main wing and its hulls can be configured to carry a number of combinations of fuel, passengers, and cargo.

The Savoia-Marchetti S.55 has been recreated in detail for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and is available now for $14.99 in the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace. The sky is calling!
